Mirador keeps changing your phone wallpaper with photographs of landscapes, wildlife and sky from different parts of the world. Real photographs, taken with a camera in a real place: none of them is generated by artificial intelligence.

And it puts your wallpapers in one place: you choose which photographs go on the lock screen, which ones go on the home screen and how often they change. No hunting through six different submenus depending on the make of your phone.

It does not connect to the internet. Mirador works entirely offline: it sends and receives nothing, needs no account or sign-up, carries no advertising and collects no data.

Frequent questions

The lock screen wallpaper does not change

Some phones come from the factory with their own wallpaper carousel, and while it is on it takes priority. You turn it off in Settings → Wallpaper → Wallpaper carousel, or in Settings → Lock screen depending on the model.

Why does Mirador have to be activated at the start?

Android does not allow the wallpaper to be changed without prior authorisation. That window belongs to the system and appears only once; whichever option you pick, you can change everything afterwards inside the app.

Can I use my own photographs?

Yes, from the «The photographs» section, and you can frame each one the way you want. Your original photograph is never touched: even if you delete it from the phone, the one you set as wallpaper stays intact.

Does it need internet?

No. Mirador does not connect, sends and receives nothing, and works just the same on a plane or halfway up a mountain.

What happens if I change phones?

The collection is tied to your Google account and comes back without paying again. The photographs you added yourself have to be added again.
